How do I adjust the carrier for my newborn?

Designed to support your baby from their earliest days, with simple adjustments for a secure, close fit. Position your baby high on your chest, close enough to kiss, with their spine naturally curved and hips fully supported. Leg support adjusts at the waistband and should always sit in a hip healthy M position. Adjustable straps and panels let you fine-tune the fit as they grow, no complicated wrapping required.

What fabrics are used and are they safe for sensitive skin?

We use carefully selected, breathable fabrics designed to feel soft against your baby’s skin while remaining durable enough for everyday life.

Our materials are chosen with both comfort and longevity in mind — because this is something you’ll reach for often.

Can I carry my toddler in this carrier?

Yes. The Saddle Up Carrier supports babies and toddlers from 7lb up to 35lb (3.2kg to 16kg), so it will see you well into the toddler years. As long as your little one sits comfortably within that weight range, with their legs in a comfortable position, you're good to go!

How do I care for my carrier?

We recommend spot cleaning where possible and where a deeper clean is required (carrier body only) to hand wash or place in a delicates wash bag on a cold gentle cycle and air drying flat in the shade.

The Saddle Up carrier tassels are 100% leather and should be only spot cleaned with a damp cloth when necessary. Please ensure that the tassels are removed before washing the carrier body.

Is the carrier suitable for all body types?

Yes, Sol Samsara carriers are designed to adapt to you. While our carriers can be comfortably worn by men, we have intentionally designed this carrier with women in mind so the waistband tapers around the hips for a more ergonomic and supportive fit.

With adjustable straps, the our carriers can be customised to suit a wide range of body shapes and sizes from an Australian size 6 to 24 (waistband: 76cm - 127cm).
